# Job Title: Janitorial Operations Supervisor - Campus Facilities ## Job Details Pay: $25.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) Shift/Schedule: 40 hours per week (Must be flexible for event schedules) Location:  Jess Neely Dr, Nashville, TN 37212 ## Job Description We are seeking a reliable, high-energy Janitorial Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and lead our frontline crew at a premier, high-traffic university athletic facility in Nashville, TN. If you have a strong work ethic, a sharp eye for detail, and experience managing multi-site or large-scale facility operations, we want you on our team! As a supervisor, you will split your time between hands-on cleaning duties, operating advanced floor-care machinery, and coordinating team tasks to ensure the athletic facilities and common areas remain spotless and safe for students, staff, and visitors. ## Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Coordinate daily task lists for cleaning staff, provide on-the-ground support, and assist management with employee or client relations. Campus Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform hands-on general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting restrooms/common areas) across the assigned campus facilities. Event Operations: Lead the setup, layout adjustments, and breakdown of furniture for special campus events and game days; execute rapid post-event turnarounds. Advanced Equipment Operation: Confidently operate and guide staff on heavy-duty machinery (automatic scrubbers, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and wet vacuums). Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to PPE guidelines and campus disinfection protocols (proper chemical dwell times). ## Job Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facility operations preferred (supervisory experience is a major plus). Skills: Ability to follow complex verbal/written instructions and learn advanced cleaning principles. Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periods, and comfortably lift/move up to 50 lbs. Pre-Employment Screening: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and a drug screen (required for working in student/campus environments and operating machinery). Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to travel between campus locations.
