Overview
Reporting to the Plant HR Leader, this role is designed for a HR professional who excels at balancing data-driven analytics with empathetic employee relations.
Work Location: Carretersa Mexico - Laredo Km. 1011 Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León 65550 Mexico
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Generalist II will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP Generalist I maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. While this role does not directly supervise a staff, this position serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department, as well as partnering with business units to advise and coach. Reporting to the Plant HR Leader, this role is designed for a HR professional who excels at balancing data-driven analytics with empathetic employee relations.
Responsibilities
• Support labor relations for assigned groups by responding to first-level employment related questions and participating in structure investigations
• Assist in executing corporate programs (i.e. performance review, personal development plans, employee surveys, merit planning, etc.)
• Support incentive program administration
• Administer employee performance management process and discipline through consistent application of company policies
• Plan/coordinate events and provide consistent communication to employees
• Run data for weekly & monthly human resources KPI reports required by site and corporate management
• In partnership with HR Leader and other Generalists, elaborate Root Causes Analyst to improve the HR KPI's
• Working with HR Leader, Business Leaders and other Generalist, improve organizational culture with focus on Lixil
Voice action plan to improve: Employee retention and development for high performance talent.
• Manage attendance programs and assist with salaried onboarding
• Provide benefits-related counseling, processing, and reporting
• Support the business in the management of vacation and overtime usage
• Provide and integrate the daily information for the HR Team quick decision and actions
• Headcount control system for: Detecting open hourly position, Support the correct process of payroll and help to have an efficient people control
• Maintains personnel files for hourly employees in control and updated
• Administers performance and perfect attendance bonus programs for hourly employees
• Administers hourly employee exit interview process
• Distributes required corporate communications and notices to hourly employees
• Oversee employee service providers, specifically managing daily operations for staff transportation and cafeteria
services to ensure punctuality and quality standards
Qualifications
Education -- Bachelor in Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related experience – 2+ years of applicable human resources experience

Language – Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
