Job summary:


We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Belgium entities. Our sites are based in Kruipin Harbour - Kallo Antwerpen, Ieper and Rijkevorsel. This position combines tactical sales activities to provide end-to-end frozen and chilled supply chain solutions to make sure our warehouses are at their top capacity and also a strategic focus on developing new customer-driven solutions for Road Transportation and International Forwarding. The role requires building strong relationships with supply chain decision makers and tailoring solutions that deliver long term value.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Consultative selling with a focus on end-to-end frozen supply chain solutions
  • Developing new customer-driven solutions with a focus on Warehouses and Integrated Solutions (Transportation, Customs and Freight Forwarding).
  • Working together with the international Business Development Managers and Site management.
  • Proactively hunting for new business and building a sales pipeline
  • Managing inbound sales enquiries and formal tenders
  • Creating tailored proposals for customer requirements
  • Building long-term partnerships with both new and existing accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records in the sales database (CRM)

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong B2B sales experience (consultative selling) with proven new business generation
  • Experience working to targets in a structured, professional environment
  • Proven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of 3PL end-to-end supply chains
  • Broader European logistics experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and preferable another European language.
