The Specialist Controlling (m/f/d) supports financial reporting, business performance analysis, and effective decision making within the organization.
This role combines solid controlling fundamentals with analytical skills to support financial reporting, cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany processes. Working closely with the Senior controllers, the Specialist contributes to accurate reporting, data driven insights, and continuous improvement of controlling processes.
The position plays an active role in maintaining data quality, supporting automation and digitalization initiatives, and ensuring reliable financial steering while partnering effectively with finance and business stakeholders.
This position reports directly to Director Controlling of a Global Business Unit.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare standard reports, KPIs, and dashboards using reporting tools (Tagetik, SAP) and BI solutions (Power BI, Excel)
- Support data extraction, validation, and quality assurance using automated solutions to enhance transparency and data reliability
- Contribute to monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles by collecting data, preparing templates, and validating inputs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission of planning assumptions
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and accounting standards through documentation, data checks, and reporting controls
- Drive operational excellence by improving controlling processes, reducing manual effort, and enhancing data flows
- Support automation initiatives and the rollout of new tools
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reporting for senior controllers and management
Show your expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Initial professional experience (1+ years) in a relevant field
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and dynamic pivot tables
- High affinity for BI tools and AI-supported analytics
