Job Description

Job Objective Managing and implementing the operational excellence system with all measures at the location, as well as controlling the use of employees and the interfaces particularly between O2F and I2P process Executing lean production as well as Kaizen activities for direct and indirect areas. Coordinating Forvia Excellence System (Forvia ES) deployment and implementing the fundamentals of the processes of "Production System" and "Plant Management" in Forvia ES, moderating and supporting the budgeting, planning and reviewing of Forvia ES deployment Develop a systematic approach to ensure that Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering methods are applied and executed within the location Duties and Responsibilities A Improvement Management 1 Lead, guide and instruct the Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering organization within the location; ensure the continuous improvement process and the application of relevant tools 2 Coordinate the overall deployment of Forvia Excellence System, and the planning and controlling the implementation of the fundamentals of Production System and Plant Management processes, develop Forvia Excellence System (Forvia ES) deployment related materials, processes, tool and templates in order to facilitate the continuous improvement of the quality of the processes and products, create standard solutions for improvements 3 Drive important plant Operations KPIs by selecting the right CI activities and ensure target achievement of the Management Team (local) together with their disciplinary superiors 4 Coordinate the strategy of the plant, derive improvement measures and drive them towards KPI targets 5 Train, coach and qualify the organization in regard to Lean Production, Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering within the location 6 Support the implementation of the respective tools, ensure coherence and uniformity of the introduced methods and tools according to the Corporate Management System (CMS) 7 Participate in international collaboration and exchange of improvement ideas, best practices and best solutions within the Business Division 8 Support target achievement for the Management Team (local) together with their disciplinary superiors 9 Steering and execution of local projects and project teams 10 Reporting of overall progress to ensure an optimum flow of information within internal and external departments (both national and international) 11 Planning and controlling of roll-out projects (global, regional and local) with relevant departments; taking over project management for middle complex projects 12 Continuous identification of improvement potential, developing of new concepts for measures as well as safeguarding its realization within a feasible period of time 13 Organization and moderation of regluar Forvia ES review and regluar Forvia ES self-assessment, and planning of the accordant/advancement with local fundamental owners 14 Lead Continuous Improvement Saving Program at the location B Leadership 1 Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks 2 Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks 3 Responsible for hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands 4 Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and further develop employees on the basis of a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the targets of the department a) profession / education b) job related experience University degree more than 6 up to 7 years
