Business Analyst (Commercial) (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Business Analyst who combines a solid financial background with strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate data into meaningful business recommendations.
You will report to the Head of Analytics
Work Model: Hybrid (flexible Fridays)
Location: Curie-Skłodowskiej 12, Wrocław (Nobilis Business House)
In this role, your main focus will not only be on preparing reports but explaining what the data means and what actions should be taken.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Analyze financial and commercial data (sales, revenue, profitability, portfolio performance)
Turn data into clear insights and recommendations that support business decisions
Prepare simulations, scenarios and what-if analyses (e.g. impact on sales, margins, growth)
Work closely with sales, marketing and portfolio teams to improve performance and identify opportunities
Identify areas for growth, efficiency and profitability improvement
Support stakeholders by explaining results in a simple and actionable way (not just delivering data)
Participate/contribute to strategic reporting development projects (Power BI)
Help the business understand:
where we are losing or gaining money
how to improve sales performance
how to grow and optimize product portfolio
how to improve cost efficiency and identify business risk and opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum BSc degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Previous experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Business Analyst roles
Experience working with sales, marketing, and portfolio teams in terms of analyzing revenue, sales performance or profitability
Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with some BI tools
Ability to prepare reports, interpret data, draw conclusions, and clearly explain insights to non-finance stakeholders
Fluency in English
Programming languages, AI, SQL and fluent Polish would be a desirable
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Analytical thinking and strong problem‑solving skills
