Position Summary
As our Sales Representative, your main mission is growth. Based right here in Charlotte, you will spearhead new customer acquisition and expand our footprint with existing clients throughout your territory. You’ll be the face and voice of The Budd Group, connecting local businesses with our premier janitorial, maintenance, and specialty service lines.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you’ll be driving the pipeline from first contact to close:
Hunt & Qualify: Research target markets, map out key decision-makers, and qualify leads from marketing campaigns, trade shows, and industry references.
Work the Phone & The Field: Initiate outbound cold calls and leverage digital outreach to secure high-value, in-person sales appointments.
Collaborate to Close: Partner closely with our AVPs and Business Development Managers to drive leads through the pipeline and successfully close service contracts.
Grow Existing Accounts: Look for opportunities to upsell and add value to our current customer base.
Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent The Budd Group at regional trade shows, networking organizations, and community events.
Stay Organized: Maintain accurate data inside our CRM to track your personal metrics and keep your pipeline healthy.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

Sales Instincts: Previous experience in route sales, outbound call centers, inside sales, or B2B sales is preferred.
Fearless Hustle: You are comfortable making cold calls, possess the grit to handle rejection, and remain relentlessly goal-oriented.
Strong Communicator: You have excellent phone presence, sharp written skills, and can confidently deliver presentations in person or digitally.
Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Experience with CRMs or sales tech (like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or Pardot) is a major plus.
Time Manager: You know how to prioritize a busy day, work independently, and stay organized without someone looking over your shoulder.
