DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Transparency, Processes & Compliance Analyst, located in Pomezia, Roma, Italy. 

Job Overview 

This role supports the Professional Education (Prof Ed) Commercial organization by ensuring strong governance, transparency, and compliant execution of education‑related activities. The Transparency, Processes & Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in strengthening operational rigor, enabling compliant interactions with healthcare professionals, and driving continuous process improvement. The position offers exposure to cross‑functional stakeholders and regional/global processes, making it an excellent opportunity to build expertise in compliance, analytics, and business operations within a regulated MedTech environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support transparency and compliance activities related to Professional Education programs, including data collection, validation, reporting, and documentation. 

  • Execute and maintain standardized processes to ensure adherence to internal policies, industry codes, and applicable regulations. 

  • Monitor, analyze, and reconcile education‑related spend and activity data to support accurate and timely transparency reporting. 

  • Partner with Commercial, Professional Education, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure aligned and compliant execution of programs. 

  • Support audits, internal reviews, and inquiries by preparing documentation and responding to data requests. 

  • Identify process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies; propose and help implement process improvements and standard work. 

  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into compliance status and operational performance. 

  • Demonstrate strong work ethical behaviors and high collaborative attitude. 

 

 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field). 

  • Master’s degree or specialized coursework in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Analytics preferred. 

Experience and Skills 

Required: 

  • Generally requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience in compliance, business operations, analytics, finance, or a regulated commercial environment. 

  • Experience working with structured processes, data analysis, and reporting. 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and validate large data sets. 

  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements and apply them operationally. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard reporting or data‑tracking tools. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries. 

  • Familiarity with transparency reporting (e.g., HCP spend, education grants, or similar frameworks). 

  • Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews. 

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, standard work, continuous improvement). 

  • Experience working in cross‑functional or matrixed organizations. 

Other 

  • Languages: Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken). 

  • Travel: Limited; primarily local or regional, estimated at up to 10%. 

  • Certifications: Compliance, audit, or analytics related certifications are a plus but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€33,700.00 - €54,395.00

 

 

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
