Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages general ledger, prepares bank reconciliations, handles petty cash and fixed asset accounting
Perform general accounts receivable and payable duties including processing cash receipts and inputting invoices and vouchers respectively
Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparation of month end schedules and reconciliation
Maintains accounting files and records in inhouse accounting system
Assembles information for external auditors during annual audit
Works closely with intra-team and external parties on daily operations
Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices
Provides support to the Team as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or above, preferably with Accounting diploma or equivalent
2-year accounting / audit experience is preferred but is not a must
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
Able to work independently and respond positively to new challenges
Demonstrates resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Basic Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
