We are seeking a Product Development Analyst to support the development, refinement, and delivery of high-impact cybersecurity products while strengthening team-wide operations and processes. This role blends technical writing and editorial expertise with program support, stakeholder coordination, and production workflow management.

The ideal candidate is both a strong writer and a versatile operator capable of translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable content while also managing reviews, tracking deliverables, and improving workflows across the team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring content quality, operational efficiency, and alignment with mission priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder engagement processes, including coordinating reviews, integrating feedback, and driving alignment across multiple contributors.

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy and ensure alignment with evolving cybersecurity priorities.

  • Support communication planning, prioritization, and risk management for high-visibility deliverables.

  • Manage production workflows, including tracking deliverables, maintaining schedules, and ensuring visibility into team outputs and priorities.

  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership at multiple levels.

  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability of team operations.

  • Contribute to and refine standard operating procedures, editorial practices, and workflow governance.

  • Operate independently while supporting team leadership, taking initiative on priorities and adapting to evolving mission needs.

  • Manage multiple concurrent efforts and competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment.

  • Leverage Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools to support content development, coordination, tracking, and reporting.

  • Edit and refine cybersecurity content, including advisories, guidance, and time-sensitive communications, to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

  • Translate complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging aligned with team strategy.

  • Apply and enforce consistent voice, structure, tone, and terminology across all publications.

  • Conduct comprehensive quality reviews prior to publication, ensuring products are polished and publication-ready.

Required Qualifications

  • Active DOW clearance.

  • U.S. citizenship required by federal contract.

  • 7+ years of experience in technical writing, program support, cybersecurity environments, or related roles.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editorial capability, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate, publication-ready content.

  • Proven experience managing stakeholder engagement, including coordinating reviews and synthesizing inputs from multiple contributors.

  • Experience supporting workflows, reporting, or operational tracking for deliverables and team outputs.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, policy, threat landscape, or frameworks.

  • Experience supporting government clients or mission-driven environments.

  • Experience using analytics, feedback mechanisms, or reporting to improve content effectiveness.

  • Knowledge of accessibility and plain language best practices.

  • Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams using collaboration platforms

Job Location

  • Hybrid position. Must be in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and able to visit the client site in Northern Virginia as needed.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
