UWMedicine - Northwest Hospital has an outstanding opportunity for a FIXED TERM DURATION Supply Chain Technician II.
WORK SCHEDULE
100% FTE
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Fixed term expected to be 12 months
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and other supply locations utilizing proper rotation
Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items
Pick supplies utilizing a Zebra Handheld device for tech orders.
Check various supply locations for product expiration dates and removal according to policy
Perform basic disinfection, storage, and distribution of minor equipment
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies
Perform issues and credits in Workday, ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately
Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs
Manage rental equipment, including rounding in nursing areas, verifying correct charges, ordering needed equipment, and discontinuing unneeded equipment
Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation AND 6 months of supply chain experience
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
