Communications and L&D Coordinator

Job Description

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We've been building businesses on Amazon for more than 15 years and we continue to be on the forefront as Amazon platforms evolve. We're uncomfortable calling ourselves experts — since Amazon is always changing, we're constantly adapting — but the breadth of our knowledge is vast, and our team's diverse experiences elevate our partners' businesses. We're marketers, advocates, data scientists, supply chain managers, Amazonians, advertisers and merchants. But most importantly, we're brand builders. Let's build brands together.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Learning and Development minded writer and marketing-communications coordinator to support how we deliver learning at GO and show up in the marketplace. This role exists to help us stand out as an agency -- through L&D fundamentals that sharpen our internal education, creating training materials and programs that help our team offer better client support, and owning communication operations that support our corporate marketing activations.

The right person for this role understands that how something is communicated matters just as much as what is being said. You know how to read a room — or an audience — and tailor content in a way that actually moves people to act. You're energized by collaborating with subject matter experts and operational leaders to take complex, technical information and make it accessible, clear, and useful for whoever needs it most. And when the playbook doesn't exist yet, you're the one who writes it. You take pride in clear, polished writing; thrive on keeping things organized and on schedule; and enjoy the variety that comes with supporting a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

Content and Learning & Development Support

  • Partner with SMEs and functional leads to translate complex processes into clear, audience-appropriate content
  • Design and develop learning experiences — e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and microlearning — applying instructional design principles to ensure content is engaging and outcome-aligned
  • Assist in maintaining Learning Management System (LMS) organizing and uploading content, as well as tracking and reporting on usage metrics.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for live and virtual training sessions, including facilitator prep and post-session follow-up
  • Leverage AI tools to increase efficiency across writing, research, and content development workflows
  • Support new tool and process rollouts with adoption-focused training materials
  • Maintain content libraries, document templates, and version control
  • Manage training calendars (i.e. - Focus Fridays) with communicate guidelines and calendar holds

Communications Execution

  • Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications — owning clarity, tone, and consistency across all channels
  • Manage distribution lists and the internal communications calendar
  • Own end-to-end production of the quarterly All Hands deck, coordinating stakeholder content and ensuring materials are polished and on time

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Develop and manage GO’s content calendar, creating case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, social content, and award submissions into compelling, brand-aligned pieces
  • Research and track speaking opportunities, award deadlines, and conferences that align with broader strategic objectives
  • When necessary, coordinate with content contributors to manage deadlines

Event Coordination & Logistics

  • Manage end-to-end logistics for conferences and external events: travel, registration, materials shipping, and booth needs
  • Plan and execute internal events — team summits, offsites, happy hours — including venue, catering, AV, and attendee communications
  • Build and maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, and budgets;

Reporting & Tracking

  • Build and maintain processes for tracking internal tool usage and sentiment metrics, delivering reporting on these metrics to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Aggregate team feedback and survey data into actionable insights that key stakeholders and leaders can evaluate to strengthen adoption.
  • Track project timelines and proactively flag risks

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as point of contact for additional inbound Performance Enablement requests outside of daily L&D functions, coordinating with the Dir of Communications & Trainings about priorities and next steps.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years in a corporate environment supporting L&D processes, content development, MarCom activities, event coordination, or related functions
  • Strong writing skills across formats — training materials, internal communications, marketing content, and documentation
  • Experience with project coordination: managing multiple priorities, tracking deadlines, and keeping cross-functional stakeholders aligned
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments — able to build structure, define processes, and move work forward without a clear playbook
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AI tools
  • Ability to analyze feedback and program data and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Preferred

  • Familiarity with instructional design principles or prior experience supporting L&D programs
  • Experience with a learning management system (LMS)
  • Event coordination experience
