Job Description
At Truvo, we are building a fully autonomous consumer insurance broker — saving the average household hundreds of dollars on insurance while better protecting people for the worst moments in their lives. We are rewiring a trillion-dollar industry that still runs on phone calls, fax machines, and legacy carrier systems. We raised our seed, built a best-in-class AI-native broker platform with AI agents that quote, bind, and service policies autonomously, and are scaling an exceptional team.
As Chief of Staff, you will be the CEO's right hand — owning the most critical workstreams across the business and building out the operational backbone of the company. This is not an advisory role; you will have direct ownership of cross-functional initiatives, drive execution on company priorities, and help build and lead the team around you. We are looking for someone from a top-tier background — consulting, banking, high-growth startups, or similar — who is ready to roll up their sleeves and operate at the speed a seed-stage company demands.
Your Day to Day at Truvo
Strategic Operations: Own and drive the company's highest-priority initiatives end-to-end — from scoping to execution to measurement
Team Building: Help recruit, onboard, and manage a growing team — you will be instrumental in building out operations, sales, and GTM functions
Analytics & Decision Support: Build the data infrastructure for key decisions — lead conversion funnels, unit economics, carrier performance, growth modeling
Go-to-Market: Drive lead gen strategy, partnership outreach, and carrier relationship development
Fundraising & Investor Relations: Manage investor communications, deck iterations, data room, and follow-ups as we scale toward Series A
Communications: Draft investor updates, board materials, internal docs, and external comms
Whatever's Most Important: The shape of this role evolves weekly — you will always be working on what matters most
Requirements
Pedigree: Top-tier experience at a brand-name firm — MBB consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or a high-growth startup with a strong leadership team
Analytical Ability: You can build a financial model, dissect a funnel, and find signal in messy data
Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication — you can own an investor email, a board deck, or an internal strategy doc without hand-holding
Operator Mentality: You figure things out before asking, ship before it is perfect, and hold yourself to a high bar
Leadership Potential: You have managed people or projects and are ready to build and lead a team
Genuine Interest: In insurance, fintech, or AI — bonus if you have worked in any of these
