Job Title: R&D Principal Technologist
Location: Hyderabad

Role Summary
This role includes proactive stakeholder communication and supporting broader delivery coordination across teams. Ideal candidates should be expert communicators who thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at turning complex strategies into actionable results. Candidates must have experience working as program/project co-ordinators with working knowledge of SDLC and COI operations in cloud based production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution planning across multiple workstreams, including milestone tracking, risk/dependency management, and status reporting.
- Help align teams on priorities, timelines, and delivery commitments to ensure smooth initiative execution.
- Oversee the production deployment execution for cloud infrastructure changes across AWS/Azure.
- Coordinate deployment readiness checks (approvals, dependencies, rollback plans, change windows).
- Lead go-live activities and confirm successful production implementation.
- Plan and co-ordinate the incidents or actions with team monitoring cloud environment health, performance, alerts, and resource utilization post-deployment.
- Manage ongoing maintenance activities: patches, updates in production.
- Maintain environment stability through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting oversight.
- Co-ordinating with teams involved in troubleshooting infrastructure issues, identify root causes.
- Optimize cloud resource allocation, scaling policies, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain deployment and operational logs, reports, and stakeholder communication records.
Essential Capabilities
- Strong risk management, incident escalation, and follow-through discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills (written, verbal, and leadership updates).
- Experience managing production cloud deployments and ongoing environment operations in AWS and/or Azure.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure components, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- Ability to manage cross-team coordination under tight timelines.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, SDLC.
- Experience supporting delivery governance, cross-functional planning, and execution tracking.
Essential Experience
10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of experience on above mentioned key responsibilities.

Hybrid working
We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection.
