What you’ll do
Order Processing: Manage daily processing of customer purchase orders and sales orders in SAP ERP, ensuring timely and accurate entry, preferably same day, to support customer needs and internal teams.
Customer Liaison: Act as the primary contact for allocated customers, assisting with inquiries from RFQ through to delivery, providing order and delivery status updates, and resolving issues promptly.
Quotation Management: Generate and manage quotes for assigned customer accounts efficiently, maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Pricing, Logistics, and Technical teams to clarify order details, support invoice queries, and report on pricing or margin concerns.
Data Maintenance: Maintain and update Customer Master Data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Returns and Credits: Handle returns, credits, and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) in coordination with relevant departments.
Cash Transactions: Process cash sales and EFTPOS transactions as required.
Success Metrics: Success in this role means processing orders and quotations promptly, maintaining high accuracy, supporting customer satisfaction, and contributing to smooth internal operations.
Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel is expected for this role.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (version 4.7b or higher preferred) and daily use of ERP systems for order processing.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or order processing environment, preferably in industrial manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain sectors.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling high-volume transactions.
Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, verbal) with ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves:
Qualifications or experience in customer service, parts identification, warehousing, or logistics.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and email systems such as Lotus Notes or Outlook.
Understanding of accounting, inventory, manufacturing, order processing, or payroll systems.
Experience working in aftermarket operations or industrial distribution environments.
