Mechanical Inspector

Bureau Veritas Iraq is Looking to hire Mechanical Inspector position based in Baghdad on site.

The Mechanical Inspector shall ensure that all mechanical equipment, materials, and installations comply with applicable project specifications, international standards, and contractual requirements through effective inspection, verification, and reporting activities, thereby safeguarding quality, safety, and project integrity. 
Qualifications and Skills
-Minimum 8 years' experience in the relevant field
-Sound knowledge in installation and inspection of Static / Rotating Equipment including Pre- commissioning & Commissioning.
-Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
-Sea Survival Course for Offshore Sites - Specific Technical Induction for Specific Projects - Strong knowledge of the International Codes & Standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM 
--BGAS level II / CSWIP 3.1 certify inspector
-Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
-Strong communication and reporting abilities
-Hold Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) . ( PAUT or TOFD may be used where applicable) 
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
