Patient Access Representative (Switchboard Operator) - Full Time

The Switchboard Operator is responsible for maintaining quality Customer Service, while ensuring all medical center calls are screened and transferred appropriately. Maintains clear and accurate documentation while working at Centrex. The Switchboard Operator must be able to articulate information in a manner that all callers, customers can understand while maintaining the highest level of customer care. The Switchboard Operator is a key player in the core functions for the Medical Centers communication systems. Monitors various alarms, surveillance of facility entrances, activates emergency code teams and pagers. Interaction and communication with interdisciplinary teams is essential to the role of the Switchboard Operator as well as other clerical duties.
