What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
Develop pipeline of sales and business opportunity leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals
Work with the sales department to develop sales strategies and techniques
Increase market share by developing new opportunities at target accounts through proactive sales activities within the local metropolitan market
Continually expand business relationships through networking activities
Ensure customers' expectations are being met throughout the process
Recruit Business Development Associates and/or Sales Associates to maintain a strong sales force
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of Business Development Associates and/or Sales Associates
Consistently strive to improve phone skills and product knowledge, conduct training as necessary
What are the requirements for this job?
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in sales or marketing (automotive industry experience preferred)
Extensive customer service, sales, or telemarketing experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively communicate information
Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Strong computer skills
up to $100,000 annually
