What you will do
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide legal advice across commercial, corporate, labour, technology transfer and foreign investment matters
- Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, agreements and legal documents to ensure compliance and reduce organisational risk
- Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations and case law to inform business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Conduct legal research and deliver clear, actionable insights on regulatory changes and their impact on operations
- Assess complex legal scenarios and recommend solutions by evaluating risks, trade-offs and commercial implications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to resolve legal matters and ensure aligned outcomes
- Review compliance frameworks and materials to ensure adherence to applicable laws, policies and industry standards
- Deliver high-quality legal support across projects, ensuring outputs meet timelines, quality expectations and business needs
What you will need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal degree
- Admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum 10 years of professional legal experience in commercial, corporate or regulatory law
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and legal agreements
- Demonstrated experience advising business stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate legal qualification (e.g., Juris Doctor or Master of Laws)
- Experience working within a multinational or highly regulated industry
