Lab Assistant

Generate certificates of analysis and labels based on data recorded by lab technicians using a web-based program You are expected to download new specialty gas orders into the plant tracking system daily and print picking tickets for review Complete requests for certificates of analysis and certificates of conformity from customer service and other company locations You will assist in maintaining finished quality control and laboratory standard inventories for the plant Perform administrative duties including writing correspondence, filing, mail distribution, and managing incoming calls Uphold company Loss Prevention policies by setting a positive example and reporting accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, or conditions Process all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner You will utilize computer systems daily to support plant operations
