Job Description
Provide, promote and maintain quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, professional growth, and collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers.
- Demonstrate consistent use of AIDET communication principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) during all patient and family interactions to promote trust, understanding, and engagement.
- Actively participate in bedside handoff using SBAR to involve patients and families in their plan of care whenever appropriate.
- Communicate proactively with patients and families regarding delays, procedures, and changes in plan of care, setting clear expectations and providing timely updates.
- Utilize Teach Back methodology to confirm patient and family understanding of medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently and demonstrates age specific competency for population of patients served.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Required:
- Education: Associates degree in Nursing required.
- Experience: Each candidate’s previous clinical experience is reviewed to determine acceptable experience
- Licensure/Certification:
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
- CPI certification within orientation.

- Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred
- RN-C preferred
