About the Role

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of steel tube and pipe products. This position is responsible for picking, packing, loading, and moving materials while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining operational excellence and workplace safety.

What You'll Do

  • Champion and enforce safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.

  • Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams accurately and efficiently.

  • Pick, pack, and stage orders while verifying accuracy using scanning tools and warehouse systems.

  • Load shipments onto flatbed trucks and LTL carriers safely and efficiently.

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages or discrepancies.

  • Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using reach trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.

  • Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility.

  • Support the standardization and optimization of shipping and receiving procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Maintain regular, full-time onsite attendance.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel, tubing, manufacturing, or a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Basic math skills to support accurate order processing and inventory management.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address day-to-day warehouse challenges.

  • High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical activities for extended periods.

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and material-handling machinery.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
