As a Solutions Advisor at Ryerson, you will be responsible for Ryerson processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
- Works with different departments to execute account development plans
- Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
- Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions
- Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all
- Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior sales or industry experience is preferred
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
Salary: $64,295 - $96,442 annually plus commission. A starting salary higher than $64,295 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
