Asia-Pacific Regional Cloud Architect, Assistant Manager / Manager

Job Description

 

This role applies extensive technical knowledge of cloud technology and infrastructure to develop and deploy hybrid/multi cloud solutions aligned with business objectives and security requirements. The incumbent is required to support the KPMG Integrated Value Chain program (IVC) and ongoing maintenance of the SAP technical and its integrated SAP and non-SAP cloud platforms for KPMG member firms within the Asia-Pacific region.
Incumbents will be responsible for the technical assessment, deployment, troubleshooting and testing of technical components architected for the IVC regional platform and other ASAPC RDC managed cloud platforms.

All aspects must be backed by solid communication and documentation skills together with strong SAP knowledge and experience preferably within a Professional Services environment. 

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

 

• Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and administration of multi-cloud platforms and other technologies within the IVC eco-system that integrate Successfactors, S/4 Cloud ERP, BDC, MS Fabric and Azure Integration Suite as part of the overall IVC platform.
• Accountable for day-to-day administration of the multi-cloud platforms, release management of system patches and enhancements.
• Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of technical documentations to support the ongoing maintenance of the IVC eco-system and other RDC managed cloud platforms.
• Participate in technical troubleshooting sessions within and outside of RDC service domains in Global and KPMG member firms.
• Support the regional testing effort, ensuring that defects are prioritized and actioned correctly and test scripts produced adequately test all business scenarios represented in the template.
• Support and guide member firm local technical resources in connecting local systems to the regional IVC platform.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience

• Minimum three years’ experience in corporate environment, ideally in a global setting in a technology and/or a professional services environment.
• Minimum two years solid cloud administration experience in MS Azure and SAP BTP. Knowledge of SAP TMS, ABAP, automation technologies and AI LLMs will be preferable. 
• Experience using communication tools like Microsoft Teams which are utilized extensively in the region working as part of a virtual team. 
• Maturity in personal skills and the practical application SAP methodologies.
• Pragmatic attitude and flexible to changing priorities and demands.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
