Position Title:             Material Handler

Reporting To:             Paint Shop Supervisor  

Location:                    Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan

Hours of work:            40 Hours Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Reporting to Paint Shop Supervisor, you will work as part a team to handle the movement of incoming deliveries to the site and the movement of materials for production in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to and from Production, Paint and Assembly.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and timely handling of all materials
  • Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
  • Off loading and accurate storage of incoming deliveries
  • Safely operate the Counterbalance FLT and Combilift Truck when manoeuvring across the site
  • Loading and Unloading of Material from one part of production to the other including the removal and replacement of parts from paint stillages
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following Standard Work procedures
  • General Housekeeping Duties

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT Ticket
  • IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
  • Understanding of Safe working practices
