Production Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Manages 4 production supervisors who supervise 15-20 employees each in the manufacturing plant. Responsible for overall direction, safety, performance and evaluation of this unit.
Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, recognizing and disciplining employees and insuring compliance with specifications and procedures.
Reports productivity, safety, manufacturing accuracy, material usage variances, scrap and other KPI.
Confers with scheduling, maintenance, engineering, quality control, HR and other resources within the business unit.
