We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Lean Specialist who can effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive tangible results. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates adaptability to change, and takes full ownership and accountability for delivering outcomes.

This role requires excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with strong attention to detail, enabling the successful identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities across the organization.

As a Lean Specialist, you will lead the deployment of the Continuous Improvement (CI) vision and strategy across EMEA. This includes Lean and Six Sigma process deployment, training, and mentoring. The role is a key member of the Business Services, Electrical EMEA Commercial Operations team, ensuring a strong culture of Continuous Improvement and Lean is embedded and leveraged to drive change.

You will support the creation and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma strategies that improve factory margins, product delivery performance, employee safety, and reduce product and process variation. In addition, you will lead cross-functional projects, including those not strictly related to Lean or Six Sigma.

Your main responsibilities:

A. Strategy & Deployment

  • Work through the leadership team to lead the development and implementation of the site Lean and Six Sigma strategy
  • Define and execute the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) roadmap, including actions, training, and cross-functional activities such as Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs)

B. Assessment & Gap Analysis

  • Conduct Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) assessments
  • Identify performance gaps and partner with leadership to prioritize and close them

C. Business Improvement Support

  • Provide Lean and Six Sigma support across the organization
  • Drive both short-term and long-term business improvements

D. Operational Excellence

  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste
  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and operational performance measured through KPIs

E. Continuous Improvement Governance

  • Support the Continuous Improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) council

F. Execution & Capability Building

  • Coordinate improvement activities including training, mentoring, Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, and benchmarking

G. Coaching & Development

  • Provide coaching on Lean, Six Sigma, and the Eaton Continuous Improvement Framework
  • Expand capability across Customer Experience and other functional areas in Electrical EMEA

H. Alignment

  • Partner with the OPEX Manager to ensure alignment of CI activities with broader functional strategy and vision

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years hands-on experience in operational excellence, quality, continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma

Preferred qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF)) and Six Sigma
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience applying these methodologies
  • Experience implementing Lean in low volume, high mix environments
  • Background in Operations, Business Services, Supply Chain, or Product Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Technical knowledge:

  • Lean methodologies
  • Problem-solving techniques (Ishikawa Diagram, 5 Why Analysis, etc.)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab (or equivalent statistical tools)

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive results and get things done in complex environments
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment
