Job Description:
- Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials to present strategic advice to clients
- Conduct industry-specific research and competitive analysis to understand clients’ businesses, strategies, and challenges
- Coordinate and obtain internal approvals for live transactions by working closely with internal committees
- Support due diligence processes and assist in identifying transaction risks
- Conduct financial analysis, including valuation methodologies
- Prepare regulatory documents required by HKEX and CSRC
- Prepare key materials for roadshows and syndication processes
- Stay updated on market developments, including macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and deal activity
- Work closely with senior bankers, peers, and other professional parties (e.g., auditors, counsels, industry consultants) to ensure smooth deal execution
Qualification:
- Master’s degree or above from a top-tier university, preferably majoring in finance, accounting, or with interdisciplinary backgrounds combining finance with other fields such as medicine, computer science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking and/or related fields (e.g., audit, funding, law)
- Strong analytical, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Good PC skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Wind and Bloomberg
- Energetic and driven, with strong ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate well in English and Chinese with strong English writing skills
