Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) - Pulp Mill
Valliant, OK
Salary Range ($93,400-$124,500) - Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short–term incentive plan.
The OMC is responsible for the leadership and coordination of area maintenance activities to meet area goals in Safety, Equipment Reliability, Uptime, 5S, spending, and environmental compliance. The OMC will lead shutdown planning activities from planning through execution and ensure precision maintenance goals are achieved.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Safety Leadership
- MWS execution
- Physical Plant Improvements
- Maintenance Budget and Overtime
- Maintenance Resources
- Communication of Area Maintenance Plans
- Weekend call duty.
- Serve as backup to APM for Daily Report responses - (AOC, Envoy & ParcView Guidelines)
- After hours duty to resolve issues related to safety, environmental, and production during outages and upset conditions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to groups and individuals.

- Strong technical knowledge related to the pulp and paper process.

- Proven leadership ability in guiding a customer-focused organization to meet its business objectives.
- Technical education consisting of BS or higher in engineering, pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience.
