Key Responsibilities
Coordination and execution to the approved Annual Budget Business Plan for the year according to the milestone, schedule or timeline planned by business.
Recommend improvement initiative that will substantiate cost saving, technologies, and process efficiency improvement.
Ensure the implementation of approved SOP’s within the budget of resources allocated for respective DC and Business Unit.
Measure and monitor daily operational KPI’s (e.g. check electronic system, CCTV, physical security, infrastructure etc.) and take corrective measures for variances vs. agreed standards
Plan for the required resources needed to achieve the stipulated KPI’s. Ensure that any shortfall in resources are addressed or mitigated and if needed elevate the issues to operations and manager.
Coordinate and perform security risk assessment at least per annual basis by respective DC with operations, security provider etc.
Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports, documenting security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities.
Provide recommendations and remediation action plan to management for security control improvement and mitigate current threats.
Investigate all security related incidents and submit reports to Management for review and further action.
Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any security breaches or incidents.
Manage access control systems, issuing and revoking security clearances as necessary.
Conduct security patrols to deter and detect unauthorized activities, and maintain a visible presence.
Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Conduct impromptu checks to DC and security agencies at random hours from time to time.
Ensure that the highest level of workplace safety & security is maintained and to ensure that any deviations from these published standards are reported promptly to the Management.
Lead and manage a team of security officers, assigning duties, and ensuring their compliance with security protocols
Provide training and guidance to security staff on security protocols, safety measures, and emergency procedures.
Conduct security services provider on monthly basis to ensure the performance are maintain on security performances.
To ensure the security provider meet contractor KPI’s and guide them for improvements.
Ensure a clean, safe and hazard free work environment in all areas of the business.
Provide inputs to the management on cost efficiency projects or work environment improvement and assist in the implementation thereof.
We are looking for
Preferably a Diploma/ Degree holder in security management or relevant.
Those with a Certificate or College undergraduate must have 2-3 years relevant work experience for consideration.
Those with SPM must have minimum 5 years relevant experience for consideration.
Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of electronic security system – VMS, access control, security protection system, CCTV system etc.
Knowledge of physical security control procedures.
Knowledge in security investigations skills and reporting.
Well verse with security audits (TAPA) and ISO requirements.
Experience with logistics and warehouses is an advantage
Willing to learn new knowledge, patience, responsible and able to work in a challenging and dynamic working environment
Positive and proactive attitude, dedicated, ambitious, good work ethic, able to work independently as well as in group.
