Engineer I, Senior - Electrical and Automation Engineer

ABS Government Engineering Services (GES) is looking for a Senior Engineer I to assist with ship Electrical and Automation system drawing reviews The person will conduct engineering design reviews and analysis assignments involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects for US Government Navy, MARAD projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of engineering or scientific field. Project work and assignments may be broad in nature requiring ingenuity and cross functional coordination. Individual will support U.S. government agencies (US Navy, US Military Sealift Command (MSC), US Coast Guard, MARAD, NOAA, etc.) by performing various classification and certification services for surface vessels.
