The primary purpose of your job position is to responsible for the transportation program; including transport ofparticipants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy and any other transportation as deemed necessary.
Full Time, Onsite in Gaithersburg, MD
Position Purpose: As a Transportation Supervisor at Trinity Health PACE of Montgomery County, you'll lead our transportation program with a focus on ensuring seamless movement for our participants, from transport to meals to medical equipment and beyond.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and supervise transportation staff, overseeing hiring, training, and competency procedures.
- Collaborate within our interdisciplinary team, reporting daily participant updates and ensuring effective communication.
- Manage transportation scheduling software and daily schedules for drivers.
- Coordinate delivery of meals, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and assist in vehicle procurement.
- Ensure participant satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in working with the frail or elderly population; two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting; and five (5) years of experience in the transportation industry.
- Experience working with elderly populations and in transportation settings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related software.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
