Job Description:
What will you work on?
Work with Global Quality Assurance, Product Development Engineer and factory to make safe products with high quality.
How will you create impact?
- Identify product safety and potential compliance issue at early stage.
- Drive high product quality to win positive customer review comments.
- Provide input for Product Qualification Plan (PQP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) revision.
- Prepare Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection Specification (IS) for each product.
- Follow up product debug and qualification test.
- Conduct Artwork Graphic review.
- On-site support Production Polit line and review/validate check points.
- Cooperate with SQE for Root cause analysis and corrective action plan (RCCP).
- Follow up new regulation update, product impact and implementation.
- Conduct new factory assessment.
What are your skills and experience?
- B.Eng / B.Sc 5+ years relevant experience in Quality Engineering for product safety and reliability
- Familiar with international toy/sports product safety standard (physical, electrical chemical such s ASTMF963, EN71, ISO 8124, EN62115, FCC, RED, etc.)
- Good experience in production processes and quality control for plastic, electronic, fabric, etc.
- Strong communication skills and coordination competency to work with team.
- Able to independently handle quality activities for products with middle and high complexity.
- Able to use some of quality tools, such as 8D, Cpk, FMEA, GRR, etc.
- Good project management skill.
- Communications skills in English is a must and Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
