Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Certified Electrician 309A/442A
  • Above average troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with computer software systems
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s (software & hardware)
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems & ability to repair/diagnose
  • Experience repairing electrical breakdowns of machines, including motors, heaters, instrumentations & control systems

 

Duties include:

  • Ability to troubleshoot machine failures utilizing tools such as AB PLC software, scopes, meters, drives software and machine manuals
  • Experience performing PM checks/repairs
  • Excellent safety record
  • Panel building & industrial machine wiring experience is a definite asset
  • Ensure that the work completed is recorded in a manner to ensure adequate information available for the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Update the computerized maintenance system by completing work orders and listing parts used
