What You’ll Do
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants are responsible for direct patient care, treating a variety of individuals based upon setting, and according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will exhibit strong: customer service skills, clinical skills, and patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards and be driven toward continuous professional development. Effective time management and teamwork skills are an essential quality that will allow success in contributing to the operation of the Health System.
Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Major/Area of Concentration: Occupational Therapy
Preferred Education: Associate’s degree Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Current Ohio License
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience delivering direct patient care to individuals with a variety of deficits, which may include: orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive shortfalls. Consideration will be given to new graduates with strong clinical and professional skills.
