About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales professional to join the Brisbane Marriott Hotel team. This role is responsible for managing and growing corporate, conference, and group business, while building strong client relationships and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow corporate, conference, and catering accounts to maximise revenue and market share
- Proactively source new business through networking, sales calls, site inspections, and industry engagement
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with revenue targets and hotel objectives
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities across all market segments
- Conduct regular sales activities including client meetings, telemarketing, and account management
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Centre, Revenue Management, and Events to drive business outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within systems (Opera) and ensure timely follow-up on all leads
- Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows where required

- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
