We are seeking a JV Portfolio Accountant to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely after the training period. This individual is responsible for the preparation of financial information for the overall appraisal and secured debt management process for Regency’s co-investment partnership program, including periodic reporting to our joint venture partners, lenders, and internal management team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare quarterly and annual debt compliance packages as required by our lenders, including various debt calculations.
Assist with pulling data and answering questions received from lenders, third parties, and internal teams.
Assist with preparation of appraisals as required by various partnership agreements on a quarterly and annual basis, including initial preparation, inputs, assumptions and review.
Prepare monthly and quarterly partner distributions in accordance with the various JV agreements including cash flow forecasts by property.
Responsible for JV debt transactions, including payment of monthly debt service and reconciling escrow accounts required by the lender, and internal debt reports
Assist in the preparation of partner communications, including presentations and analysis of partnership performance and financial statements.
Assist the JV Portfolio Manager with the compliance process for the Responsible Contractor policy and Property Management audits, as liaison between auditors and property management teams.
Are You Qualified?
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
2+ years accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of GAAP and related concepts
Strong quantitative and analytical skills including knowledge of financial models and formulas
Working knowledge of JD Edwards
Ability to read and comprehend legal documents
Preferred
Real estate experience
Financial analysis and reporting experience
Commercial real estate valuation principles and financial modeling experience
Experience with Argus software
