Starting hourly pay is $21.70
The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and general maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of facilities and cleaning equipment. This role supports day-to-day facility upkeep including basic repairs, painting, and general handyman duties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general facility maintenance, including minor repairs to building systems, structures, and equipment
Complete painting, patching, and basic carpentry tasks as needed
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
Perform general handyman tasks such as fixing doors, locks, fixtures, and furniture
Assist with simple plumbing and electrical repairs (e.g., replacing fixtures, unclogging drains)
Support preventative maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime, specifically on scrubbers and vacuums
Aid in ordering supplies.
Assist with yard cleanup, snow removal around exits and entrances.
Assist in basic office equipment clean and maintenance, furnace filter changing and aid in office and equipment moves.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assist in janitorial as back up.

What We Need From You:
1–3 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or handyman work preferred
Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
Work Environment:
Primarily on-site within manufacturing, office, or facility settings
May require occasional after-hours or weekend work
