Job Description

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous process improvement.
  • Coach development teams on agile principles, practices, and ceremonies while promoting self-organization and accountability.
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve impediments that hinder team productivity and sprint progress.
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine backlog prioritization and ensure clear user story definition.
  • Analyze team metrics and velocity trends to identify opportunities for optimization and performance enhancement.
  • Mentor team members on agile best practices and support their professional development within the software development lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
  • Manage agile tools and workflows to maintain accurate sprint tracking and documentation.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar agile coaching role within software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies, and technical processes.
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks with demonstrated ability to implement and adapt them.
  • Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and removing team impediments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring development teams to enhance performance and capability.
  • Preferred: Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Preferred: Background in software development or technical project management.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
