We have an opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will coordinate and perform third-party listings for products produced internally and externally, focusing on but not limited to UL, CSA, and NSF. You will also be responsible for ensuring products are in compliance with global product regulations.
You will:
- Coordinate and organize product regulatory test plans with third party testing organizations, such as TUV, CSA, UL, and Intertek to obtain product certifications.
- Advocate for Compliance by promoting proactive approaches to compliance-related issues.
- Investigate products in the design stage and research standards or regulations that apply.
- Maintain all certification reports, current standards, and regulations relating to products.
- Monitor emerging regulatory and customer trends that could impact on our businesses and identify strategies to address.
- Maintain and update budgetary items associated with compliance and regulatory costs for product lines under the position’s purview.
Key Qualifications:
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Engineering or related field.
- Have 1+ years of technical/compliance background or equivalent experience. Experience in product/regulatory compliance preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Knowledge of freshwater agency standards, CE, and/or other International or National standards a plus.
Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
