Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Team in Employer Solutions.

 

The marketing team is responsible for developing strategic and creative communication campaigns to position Irish Life as the partner of choice for employers and brokers – working closely with corporate sales teams to support corporate acquisition and retention objectives.

 

The successful candidate will play a critical part in creating and executing marketing campaigns and activating our strategic sponsorships, with tracking and measurement of same.

 

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, energetic and collaborative. You should be agile and adaptable, with the proven ability to take initiative, work effectively on individual projects and as part of a team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver integrated, results-focused marketing campaigns that position Irish Life as a trusted partner to employers and support talent attraction and retention through strong workplace benefits packages.  
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to plan, execute and evaluate annual strategic marketing plans that support business objectives.
    Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns, events and strategic partnerships that support business goals.  
  • Lead the planning, production and ownership of high-quality, primarily B2B content across email, social, web, video, presentations and advertising, including EDM build and post-campaign evaluation.   
  • Create strong marketing proof points for our propositions, and communicate them through thought leadership, customer success stories, website content and brochureware.  
  • Maintain, review and update product and marketing literature to ensure it remains accurate, compliant, on-brand and fit for purpose. 
  • Develop and own the multi-channel communications strategy, ensuring excellent planning, clear and compelling messaging and timely delivery.   
  • Provide regular analysis and reporting on campaign, content and channel performance, using insights to optimise activity and inform future strategy.  
  • Demonstrate strong copywriting and asset creation skills, developing audience-centric messaging that reflects the brand personality and drives action.  
  • Plan and manage end-to-end campaigns, webinars and events, including content, logistics, speaker briefs, target lists, collateral, communications, registration and reporting, working closely with events, design, digital and PR colleagues.  
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across a complex business to enable effective delivery of marketing programmes.

Desired Experience & Knowledge

  • A 3rd level degree and / or relevant professional qualification in marketing.  
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a marketing and communications role with demonstrable experience in developing, delivering and measuring marketing communications, preferably in financial or professional services.  
  • Direct experience in B2B marketing is highly desirable, preferably in financial services.  
  • Strong knowledge and experience of email platforms and CMS systems.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with creative and technical writing experience.  
  • Highly motivated and driven with an ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Experience of strong internal and external stakeholder engagement.  
  • Team player with strong people skills.  
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
