Educational Assistant, MD Classroom (Grades 3–5) – 2026–2027 School Year

Tipp City Schools is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to support students in a Multiple Disabilities (MD) Classroom at the 3rd–5th grade level for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports students with complex needs by assisting with instruction, daily routines, and creating a safe, structured learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and functional needs
• Assist the teacher with implementation of IEP goals and classroom activities
• Provide support with daily living skills as needed
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
