Job Summary:**
The Junior Discipline Engineer will support the engineering team in developing, analyzing, and optimizing various systems and components for Valeo's innovative automotive products. This role involves applying fundamental engineering principles to solve technical challenges, contribute to design, and ensure product quality and performance within a specific engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of automotive components and systems.
* Conduct technical analysis, simulations, and calculations to support engineering decisions and validate designs.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design reviews.
* Participate in problem-solving activities, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
* Support the integration and validation of prototypes and production samples.
* Research and apply industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the specific engineering discipline.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science) from an accredited institution.
* 0-2 years of relevant experience in an engineering role, preferably within the automotive industry or a related field.
* Strong foundational knowledge in a specific engineering discipline (e.g., CAD software for mechanical roles, circuit design tools for electrical roles, programming languages for software roles).
* Proficiency in technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with engineering tools and software relevant to the discipline.
