Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Support Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role offers a rewarding and impactful opportunity to provide technical support and procurement lifecycle oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement lifecycle, including vendor negotiations, acquisition strategy development, and compliance with DoD procurement policies.
  • Provide technical support for JIRA, GitLab, and other IT management tools, ensuring users receive prompt issue resolution and training.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, manage user access, and support cloud-based IT applications.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and documentation skills.

Required Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field -OR- a minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving user access issues, troubleshooting software functionality, and providing technical training.
  • Experience with IT help desk ticketing systems, remote desktop support, and incident response.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

  • Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
