Job Description
We are looking for a Environmental Analyst to be part of our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for guiding and executing activities related to environmental management, controlling and updating environmental licenses with inspection agencies, waste management, environmental impact analysis in plants, promoting training for employees in the environmental area, participating in internal, external or HSE audits of customers and certifiers.
Acting in the various plants in the activities of interpretation, implementation and monitoring of environmental legislation, of the various agencies, management of environmental contracts, environmental licensing, waste management, collaborate in the maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS);
participate in internal environmental audits or HSE, of customers and certifiers, in accordance with established guidelines and strategies and current legislation.
Participate / Prepare the Technical Supply Specifications for proper contracting of companies specialized in matters related to the environment;
Participate in meetings of critical analysis of the new environmental legislation and the EMS in the units and the record of the decisions made for correct management and knowledge of the parties involved;
Prepare plans for the processes of environmental authorizations and licensing with the Environmental Agencies and monitor compliance with the conditions for the installation and operation of new processes/manufacturing units. Integrate and train plant employees in the environmental management system.
Technically analyze the environmental aspects in the design of new projects/manufacturing units so that they fully meet the requirements of local and corporate environmental legislation;
Request environmental management monitoring reports for contracted companies, analyze the result in accordance with the limits defined in environmental legislation and define corrective actions if necessary. Support the plants to meet the Objectives and Goals of the Environmental Management System Programs to promote continuous improvement and compliance with the Integrated Management Policy.
Implement Environmental Procedures and Instructions to comply with new legislation, ISO 14001 Standard and Corporate standards;
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a professional with the following skills and motivations: Higher education in Chemistry, Biology, Technology and Environmental Control, Environmental Management, Engineering or other related training.
Desirable knowledge of the English language;
Knowledge and good application of the office package Courses related to areas of environmental activity QHSE management systems, legal and operational technical training, when applicable.
