Automotive Accounting Clerk

Penske Automotive Group is looking for an Accounting Clerk with prior dealership experience to join our office staff in Duluth, GA.

As an Automotive Accounting Clerk, you will support dealership operations by processing financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, and helping ensure the accuracy of daily accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone with prior automotive dealership accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 1 year of automotive dealership accounting experience required
• Knowledge of dealership accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, deal processing, vehicle inventory, or title administration
• Experience using dealership management systems such as ADP, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar platforms preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with accounting systems and general computer applications
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

• Process and maintain dealership accounting records and financial transactions using ADP and other accounting systems
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions
• Review, reconcile, and verify accounting data for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, account statements, and related documentation
• Assist with daily accounting operations and month-end activities
• Partner with dealership departments to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
