Technologist Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy)

American Health Imaging is looking for an experienced Technologist Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy). The Technologist Assistant will be responsible for helping all Technologists in the center in areas that allow the Technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the diagnostic imaging scanning area in an orderly fashion.   This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm located in Sandy Springs, Georgia.   Duties & Responsibilities: Maintaining excellent patient care Dressing patients and obtaining medical history Starting IVs Assisting MRI/CT with the patient flow Helping sterilizes equipment and rooms   Education and Experience:  High School Diploma or equivalent required Radiology Technology student or 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality nice to have Previous experience starting IV's  Knowledge of medical terminology desired   Benefits (Please note that eligibility for benefits is based on position type and status and certain positions may not be eligible for all the benefits listed below) Medical / Dental / Vision / Life / Pharmacy Plans, with Benefits effective first day of the month following hire date 401(k) matching Monthly bonus opportunity Paid Vacation Time PTO Accrual Beginning Day 1 Colleague Referral Bonus Program   #AHIGN
