Finance Change Management & AI Innovation - Vice President
Job Description
We're seeking someone to join our Finance - Change & Innovation team as a Finance Portfolio Strategy Specialist in Finance to translate the Finance transformation agenda into disciplined portfolio governance and structured delivery plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes. This role requires strong program management discipline including portfolio coordination across 30+ programs, prioritization support, delivery oversight, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, benefits tracking, and executive-ready reporting across strategic Finance change and AI initiatives.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President position within our Portfolio & Change Management Job Family which manages strategic change management, process re-engineering, and establishment of control procedures for projects with a focus on milestone delivery across projects, managing risks and issues that impact program objectives and facilitating communication across related projects and impacted stakeholders to keep programs on track.

What you'll do in the role:
> Drive program management for the Finance Change & Transformation portfolio, establishing consistent governance, prioritization routines, delivery standards, and reporting discipline across Finance departments
> Translate Finance strategic priorities into executable initiatives with clear scope, sequencing, ownership, milestones, success measures, resource needs, and change plans
> Maintain a consolidated portfolio view of delivery progress, dependencies, capacity constraints, risks, issues, and benefits to support proactive decision-making and execution management
> Provide transparency to stakeholders into progress towards project goals and provide day-to-day oversight of delivery progress across Finance change initiatives
> Track milestones, risks, interdependencies, and issues; proactively surface concerns and resolution options
> Ensure initiatives are delivery-ready, with clear scope, ownership, success measures, and change plans
> Coordinate across Finance leadership, department stakeholders, Technology partners, business sponsors, and control teams to align priorities, resolve interdependencies, and remove delivery blockers
> Provide mechanisms to capture and monitor remediation of any potential risks and enable appropriate escalation to avoid impact of delivery
What you'll bring to the role:
> A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in Finance transformation, project or program management, strategy consulting or complex delivery roles
> Professional experience in the financial services industry, management consulting, or FinTech
> Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives in a regulated Finance environment and with cross-functional teams
> Proven experience coordinating across various Finance, Technology, Business, and Control partners and stakeholders
> Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization
> Ability to create and present PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management
> Ability to lead and influence teams with minimal guidance

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
