On the Policy Owner Services Team, we’re proud to play a vital part in the insurance process. We process policy management requests on in-force insurance policies on behalf of the agent and their client.
Responsibilities:
As the Policy Owner Services Representative, your main goal is to accurately and efficiently process policy management requests on in-force insurance policies. You will review all incoming requests to determine how to assist the agent and their clients and follow-up on those pending requests to ensure all requirements are completed correctly and in a timely manner, while providing a high level of service.
To be successful, you will need to:
Serve as a liaison between agent & insurance carriers on pending requests.
Review in-force policy request and determine the best way to process the request to meet the needs of our agent and their client.
Handle basic policy requests
Verify correct forms have been used from our library as well as obtain updated versions to keep our library current.
Monitor the progress of any pending request and provide ongoing updates to the agent.
Access applicable websites as necessary in the verification process.
Call carrier when applicable, if information in not available on their websites.
Accurately document, track and update case-specific data on internal AMS and CRM platform.
Sustain focus on service that is provided to our agents.
Work to understand basics of our phone queue and etiquette and prepare to do some queue work.
Stay abreast of varying state and federal regulations as well as carrier requirements.

Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED
One to three months related experience in customer service field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
