Objective:

  • Ensure seamless operation and maintenance of all audio-visual (AV), lighting, and sound systems for school-wide events.
  • Manage the preparation and technical setup for all on-site and off-site school events.

Main Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical Event Management:
    • Oversee all AV technical requirements for events in the auditorium (e.g., assemblies, recitals, productions, ceremonies), ensuring flawless execution.
    • Coordinate with internal and external event organizers to meet all technical specifications.
    • Set up and operate sound and lighting equipment in wider school facilities for special events.
    • Provide support for school-run special events both on and off-site, and for events run by external facility users.
    • Manage visual presentations and computer systems for screens in the auditorium and other school locations.
  • Maintenance and Administration:
    • Perform minor repair on auditorium equipment and facilities.
    • Keep an inventory of all equipment , repair and replacement.
    • Record checks on all AV equipment & other
    • Coordinate necessary repairs and servicing for all AV and other facility equipment and maintain accurate maintenance records.
    • Prepare equipment requests and obtain quotes as required.
    • Order equipment
  • Support and Collaboration:
    • Record and format Music and Drama performances for public examinations.
    • Monitor auditorium usage to prevent double bookings and ensure compliance with school regulations.
    • Offer basic technical advice and support on AV equipment usage to staff, students, and teachers.
    • Collaborate closely with the ICT department for all event-related needs.
    • Prepare and support venue setup for meetings, student activities, special events, and facility rentals.
  • Work Requirements:
    • Maintain flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as required and instructed.
    • Be available to work at both school campuses if needed.
    • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

                                 

Qualifications:

  • Male or Female, Thai Nationality only
  • Complete at least High Vocational Certificate, preferably in electronics
  • Have at least one or two years of working experiences, especially with visual/light/sound system or audio-visual aids
  • High level of IT literacy

Key Competencies:

  • Capable of performing basic repair & maintenance work
  • A good level English for conversation and good communication skills
  • Able to work during weekend and after-hours
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels both Thai and Foreigners
  • Have Positive and “Can do” Attitude
  • Observant, self-motivated
  • Be responsible and punctual
  • Non-smoker and non-alcohol drinker preferably
